Great chat with Australian International and Hearts legend, Ryan McGowan as he candidly discusses his time with the Jambos from arriving in Edinburgh as a youth player to clinching one of the club’s most famous victories in the 5-1 defeat of Hibs in the Scottish Cup.
He reflects humorously on the different managers, of which there were many, and players he encountered throughout his time at Tynecastle which included a few tumultuous moments as chaos behind the scenes crept in to effect the dressing room.
There is also the topic of his proposed move to Rangers back in 2012 as he tells us how close he came to signing up for the Ibrox club.
Ryan speaks to Si on his other great pride of playing for Australia in the 2014 World Cup as well as his short spell at Dundee United.
