Episode 1 of our 3 part series with James McFadden takes us right back to the start with the forward chatting to Si about his working class background and how that environment allowed him to develop his creative style of play and gave him his gallus approach to taking senior football head on.
He recalls some great stories from his time breaking through at Motherwell and discusses the benefit it gave him in bringing on his game at a young age compared to coming through at either of the Celtic or Rangers academies.
The boys also talk about his departure from Motherwell and how close a move to boyhood heroes Celtic actually came before he left for Everton in the Premier League.

In our final instalment with Barry Ferguson, the Scotland international takes us through the recovery from Paul Le Guen's departure with Walter Smith returning as Manager and bringing success back to the club.
That success includes Rangers run to the UEFA Cup Final in 2008 which Barry looks back fondly on despite the regret of the team not doing themselves justice in the end.
The conversation moves on to the infamous Scotland camp under George Burley, labeled 'Boozegate' which led to the end of Barry's Scotland and ultimately Rangers career. He talks openly and frank to Si about his perspective on the situation and what exactly happened over those few days.
The midfielder wraps up our chat by looking back on his time with Birmingham where he clinched a League Cup winners medal versus Arsenal as well as discussing his plans to get into coaching following his stint with lower league, Clyde.

In our 2nd instalment with Barry Ferguson, the former Scotland skipper opens up on how over celebrating Rangers' 2003 league win nearly cost them the Scottish Cup Final the following week.
He gives Si the details on how his move to Blackburn came about, his experiences with Souness and the Premier League as well as why he was desperate to get back to Rangers as soon as he made the move.
Barry goes on to give an incredible insight into the Paul Le Guen era at Rangers which saw him banished by the Frenchman during a tumultuous time at Ibrox.

Barry talks Si through his early days at the club and how a tough but fair education from the likes of John Brown, Gazza and Laudrup influenced his strong mentality when going on to play for the Rangers first team.
He also discusses the big moments that occurred during a period which saw him become one of the top players in the country and handed the captaincy as a young man in a dressing room full of experienced internationals.

He delves into first moving over to the UK and winning a contract with Southampton where he would play with the likes of Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier and eventually be managed and let go by his future Celtic manager Gordon Strachan.
This departure then leads to his move to Motherwell, where the boys have a laugh about the colourful characters that he shared a dressing room with and the chaotic culture that was present under manager Terry Butcher at the time.
